Calling all budding crafters and aspiring life documenters between ages 9-12!

I’m excited to offer summer camp sessions in my South Orange home studio. There are two themes to choose from - please make sure to double check the dates. At least three campers must be registered for each session in order for my camp to run - please spread the word!

Memory Keepers Camp

This Maker Studio camp week is built upon a unique approach to memory documenting. Using a few fun portraits (professionally photographed and edited by me on the first day of camp), your child will create and work on a memory album during their week at Maker Studio. Think scrapbooking with a modern twist!

My approach to memory documenting will guide your child through the process of planning the theme, playing with different layouts and color schemes, finding the right words (prompted writing), and bringing their personal touch to their unique memory album. At the end of the week, Campers will walk away with a beautiful project in hand, which is meant to continue growing beyond their time at my Maker Studio!

Sew fun to upcycle! Camp

This is a great experience for the environmentally-minded camper who’d love to kick off or improve their sewing skills. Every project we do during this week will involve upcycled materials! Most projects will be textile-oriented, which means your child will learn some new sewing skills and bring home items that are not only upcycled but practical and meant to be used for years to come!

With only five children per session, each camper will receive plenty of individual guidance with their project!

All supplies will be provided and included in your package.

For campers registered for multiple weeks/repeated themes, other creative projects will also be available (beading, Perler fusion beads, hand-sewing, cross-stitch, Lego).

I will provide some healthy nut-free snack options but feel free to send in your child’s favorite snacks.

Summer Camp hours and fees:

Morning Sessions are 9am - 1pm ($500)

Afternoon Sessions are 1pm - 4pm ($375)
